Entering our tenth year online! |

We have been online for a little more than nine years and have now entered our tenth.
The beginnings were humble, The Teamkill and Cheat Community started out in parallell to the established official community around the game of Vietcong. The game had a different atmosphere, its personality was completely different from that of the mass produced games of today. It was made at the end of an era when game development was still considered a creative craft to realize ideas, an art, and not primarily a profit-driven industry where programmers take orders from publishers. The devs had little experience, they had never imagined that people preferred finding new creative ways to enjoy the game – often being the unintended ways of playing the game. Players preferred to fly, find glitches in the engine and to teamkill. Back then a teamkill was noted as a regular kill, the devs didn’t even imagine such a possibility, which of course boosted that activity. Instead of encouraging it, they tried to stop it artificially by imposing imaginary rules. After all, the best players are those who take out both teams themselves. As such it was no coincidence that the teamkill community emerged from Vietcong. The time was ripe and the world was waiting for the spark that became TKC.
Today, we are not just a place where players download mods. We are a community that is tightly intervowen with the regular communities of specific games. That’s much of the difference between us and cheat databases. Our members are often prominent members of regular communities, but who have seen the light and beauty of freedom. Our members are players who get attracted by the ideals and possibilities of creativity combined with freedom, and who enjoy real games and not the ones that mindlessly are thrown at us through mass ads or trends.
Many of our detractors have at numerous times predicted our defeat and downfall, in their lengthy texts they have proclaimed victory, but da sind wir aber immer noch! And not only that, we have outlived them, because we prolong the game experience. Although them being our detractors, it’s sad to see the last bastion of limited gameplay supporters of the VC community Auscong shutting down. We of course don’t want to see community documents getting lost so we have been hosting a library of files, containing, among other things, a 300-page history of the VC community. Send us whatever you deem necessary for us to store, through the forum. Ironically its probably only communities like this that value history and that are able to preserve it as we arent tied to one specific game that eventually gets forgotten in the collective mind.
Recently an initiative has been taken by TKC ViruS to re-launch the VC-clan of TKC. If you are interested in clan play, contact him though the forum. Meanwhile we also aim to expand to the sequels of our favorite games and to new ones, if there is a game that’s missing in the forum, feel free to petition for it to be added.
Cheers to the heroes of our community and to our detractors!
To our tenth year online!

Happy holidays! |

Hello friends and fighters for the just cause!
Most of us only believe in Santa Claus, but it appears to us that a holiday season has begun and that the powers of time will take us into our tenth year online. This is a grand achievement for our community and the world. We have taken the struggle for the interests of the players and paved the way for the freedom of us all to enjoy any game the way we choose. We have produced many a tool that has removed the minority imposed limits of online gaming and expanded it to the limits of our own imagination. We have figured out how to prolong the gameplay experience by creating creative modifications that have been both fun and rewarding. We have improved our own knowledge of many a subject. Some people have always tried to force their ways of limited gameplay upon the rest of us, they are followers of the old ways, but they have failed as the existence and great deeds of this community testify.
As such, we want to wish you a merry christmas, and a happy new year of peace and freedom!

Dear supporters of our just cause !
Today we are almost fully operational again after a month or two of semi-downtime, only the downloads system based in the forum is currently malfunctioning. The Main Page will be integrated with the forum, accounts will be shared and in that way we hope to combine the best of both SMF and WordPress. This will in practice mean that chat and other future features will be more accessible.
We’re also looking to expand into the category of mod-apps. A mod-app is a single-purpose application that changes certain functionality of an existing program. The custom made cheats like the trainers we have here are just an example.
If you have any questions or problems with your user account, just press contact and send an email to the administration.
Also note that we’re always looking for moderators. If there’s a section you feel you can take care of, or a game you want to be added, feel free to send us a message in the forum about it.

The World Teamkill Championship is the only real annual gaming championship that treats games as means of expressing art.
We are proud to be able to announce the seventh championship in creative gaming since 2003, which as usual will be held from:
the 1st to the 10th of August 2010
The WTKC 2010 is a worldwide championship in the art of teamkilling. As in any other art there are different kinds of perpetrators, there are great artists – professionals, and hobbyists. This competition gives you the chance to prove once and for all if you belong in the halls of fame of artistic giants or if you are doomed to stay in the wheat-fields of novices. Do you need more practice against the scarecrows, or are you ready to take the challenge?
The annual World Teamkill Championship site has just been launched. The rules are mostly the same as last year, but apart from the championship title, we will award a prize per game if at least three other people, playing the same game, send in contributions showing off their splendid deeds.
The main prize is a printed certificate that proves that you are the greatest teamkiller in the world of year 2010.

World Teamkill Championship 2009 |

The World Teamkill Championship is the only real annual gaming championship that treats games as means of expressing art.
The arrangements of this year constitute the sixth championship in creative gaming since 2003, which will be held from:
the 1st to the 10th of August 2009
It is entirely hosted by the Teamkill and Cheat Community, whose task is to organize a jury for the event.
The WTKC 2009 is a championship in the art of teamkilling. It has to be done with style and good taste – the two components that together with good preparations make a good TK perfect. You probably know how to pull off a prank – the more taste the better. Taste is a question of content, while style is about the physical appearance of the hilarious deed – the setting, choice of tools/guns etc. The teamkiller has two teams to take care of, so, when you’re at it, make it good – make them taste culture!
The annual World Teamkill Championship site has just been launched. The rules have been somewhat modified since last year, so it’s recommended that you review them before sending in your contribution to maximize your chances of winning. The prize consists of a printed certificate that proves that you are the greatest teamkiller in the world of year 2009. Other prizes might follow depending on sponsors.

ArmA 2 Released |
| June 7th, 2009 under News, Public. [ Comments: none ]
|
|
ArmA2 was released in der Bundesrepublik some week ago, and like with ArmA 1 it was released too early. However, this shooter/simulator seems to have a lot of potential and is able to offer stunning graphics for those who have hardware of a distant future – and good graphics for the rest. Nevertheless, it’s better than ArmA 1 in many aspects.
We at TKC are of course not just sitting on our couches doing nothing. We’re actively trying to find out methods to improve the gameplay experience for all people. Adding content adds more choices and thus more freedom. Expanding these concepts, brave TKC-member Bellend, who bought his copy of ArmA early, recently began the struggle for liberation in ArmA 2. The developers had put in some artificial limit on ammo, Bellend removed it. The developers didn’t include a mass-teleportation feature, so Bellend added it. He has also unlocked the secret of anonymous killing, making the simulator even more realistic. In real life you don’t see the nick of your enemy either. This is by no means a cheat or a hack, it’s a mod. You can download his masterpiece from the Armed Assault 2 section of the forum.

Do you want to take gaming a step further and play games as they can be played?
Tired of fictional junk rules made up by some self-appointed admin?
-Join the struggle for liberation today, join the forum!
Power to the player!
